Pico Verde offers our language students a variety of housing options during their stay in La Paz. We partner with local hotels and hostels and can also arrange apartments to rent or homestays with local families.
All of our partners have been thoroughly vetted and rated by previous students, so you can be sure that they are professional, safe and reliable.
Hotels and Hostels
Depending on your length of time in La Paz, you might want to stay in one of our partner hotels or hostels. Prices in La Paz are extremely affordable, so staying in a hotel or hostel here for a few weeks won’t break the bank. Our partners are all located in or around the historic Sagarnaga neighborhood of La Paz, a stone´s throw from the local nightlife, restaurants andworld-renowned handicraft shopping markets.
If you are planning on staying in La Paz a little longer you might want to consider renting a room and having the added comfort and privacy of your own space – especially if you plan on traveling around Bolivia and want to leave your stuff in La Paz.
Staying with a local family is an excellent way to get in that crucial Spanish practice, and to gain more of an insight into the way of life here in La Paz. We are in touch with a number of families who welcome our students into their own homes for long or short stays. (Please note that homestays are dependent on availability).
